A SIMPLE AND QUICK GUIDED MEDITATION

Treat your well-being to some mindfulness. A body scan meditation is a great way to go around yourself, relieve stress, ease tension and even improve sleep. We can all get behind that, right?

When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace. It's OK to take a pause and reflect. Don't try and get intimidated by other journey or their social media. They have their path, you have yours. Only thing really important is peace and positivity. Over the years I've realized most people in my life have been taking space in my mind where it's not theirs. Some came along as friends. But we need to be aware of who cheer for us and who wait for us to fail. I stopped being bothered by what others think about me, because that reflects on their mentality not mine. What matters is how I perceive myself, that doesn't mean being selfish. When you focus on yourself and your energy, others opinions don't matter, their negativity stops affecting you and your aura. Look at yourself in the mirror, are you proud of the human you are? Are you happy with who you are? If so, then you've arrived and others happiness will only make you smile. Remember the universe listens and it has in abundance for all of us.

When you connect to the silence within you. That is when you can make sense of the disturbance going on around you.

Meditation teaches you to be as you are and trains your mind to remain equanimous despite pain or emotional trauma. To remain stable when life goes awry is a happier result than grasping for whatever society tells you will make you happy.

Meditation is an attention, cultivate concentration. It is a method to improve our concentration. By default our mind cannot concentrate easily and it is extremely tough to prevent our mind from doing this just by willpower

Concentration helps our mind in engage less in such worst case scenario. In reality once you start the concentration you become calmer. If you just think of the meditation as an attention practice for improving concentration it may not make sense to you how it can have benefits.

The ultimate goal of the meditation is to train you to be in the present moment. Later you train to use this concentration to attend to the present moment with full acceptance.

Meditation makes you calm and centered person. Meditation can help you overcome depression as well as occasional sadness. We suffer when we are in pain. Suffering doesn't have to follow with pain. It is just that we do not like pain. Meditation can help deal with pain in a better way then just taking painkillers. It will help you not react easily.

It helps you be better aware of your emotional and mental state. This help one to make better choices. By being more present in the moment and more aware of your emotions and thoughts. You learn to accept reality as it is not the way you want it to be. This helps people to deal better with old age and death. You can practice meditation just to enjoy the simple benefits.
